American University in Bosnia and Hercegovina Students, members of sports and recreational activities, supported "Pozdrav Proljecu“.
Professionals at AUBIH are constantly developing amongst the students a habit of doing sports, charity work, involving them in cultural and business life of their city, community and country.
According to Dalibor Vidovic, sport activities coordinator at AUBIH: „recently we have established a partnership with the mountain – climbing club „Konjuh“ to the satisfaction of both parties. Apart from being renowned for their professional mountain – climbing they are well known for taking care of the natural environment and organizing many events outdoors.“
One such event was a mass social event, organized outdoors ofcourse, under the name „Pozdrav Proljecu“ (Hello To Spring). This year the event was supported by many AUBIH students.
More than three thousand nature – lovers of all generations together with the AUBIH students walked along a 10 kilometres route, starting on Sunday in the early morning hours from the Zlaca Camping ground towards the Zobik mountain top, where the central event of this years gathering was held.
The highlight of the event, according to many, was the traditional mountain pot lunch, and the day was made complete by enjoying in nature's beauty and socializing with other participants which, this year, came in numbers.
