The American University of Bosnia and Herzegovina (AUBiH) is a private American-style university located in the heart of the emerging economies of the Balkans in southeastern Europe. Founded in 2006 with 20 students, AUBiH now has an enrollment of more than 380 students on its three campuses (Tuzla, Sarajevo and Banja Luka) where the University advances the ideals of an American liberal arts education while encouraging the free exchange of ideas and promoting open interaction within its diverse student body.
AUBiH is the first university to offer career-oriented programs in BiH. It is an independent, non-sectarian, and equal opportunity institution, committed to providing quality higher and continuing education for students from BiH and the region. The degrees and programs offered at AUBiH are recognized in the U.S., the European Union, and BiH. AUBiH has three colleges; the College of International Finance and Banking, the College of Information Technology and Digital Economy, and the College of International Law and Diplomacy. All degree programs offered are accredited through the State University of New York at Canton (SUNY Canton).
The distinguished faculty of AUBiH has been recruited from the United States and Europe and has been educated in the finest American universities. Driven by a desire to help the region emerge from the past with a strong base for the future, AUBiH professors are dedicated to a teaching style which fosters intellectual reflection and personal initiative while ensuring that students receive the individual attention needed to fully develop their talents and prepare for positions of leadership within their communities and the region. Classes are small (20-25) and interactive. The language of instruction is English.

AUBiH is currently recruiting faculty for the 2010-2011 academic year. We are seeking applications in the following areas:

Successful candidates will hold terminal degrees (Ph.D., J.D., etc.) in their field of expertise. Individuals should present records of high-quality research and scholarly publications. Openings are available in Tuzla, Sarajevo, and Banja Luka. AUBiH offers its faculty and staff:
